Max Verstappen's Shocking Q2 Exit at Japanese GP
In a major surprise at Suzuka, Max Verstappen was eliminated in Q2, marking his worst Japanese GP qualifying result in 11 years. He was beaten by teammate Isack Hadjar and missed the top-ten shootout, later reporting an undriveable car with rear instability.
Max Verstappen suffered a stunning early exit in qualifying for the Japanese Grand Prix, being knocked out in Q2 for the first time at Suzuka since 2015. The four-time champion, who has dominated the last four races at the circuit, will start a lowly 11th on the grid, out-qualified by both his Red Bull teammate Isack Hadjar and the Racing Bulls rookie who pipped him to Q3.
