Haas is evolving into the TGR (Toyota Gazoo Racing) Haas F1 Team for 2026, marking a significant deepening of its technical partnership with the Japanese manufacturer. This shift comes as the American outfit prepares for an online livery launch, aiming to capitalize on the stability provided by Team Principal Ayao Komatsu and a revitalized driver lineup.

For a team of Haas's size, survival and gradual progress depend on smart partnerships and efficient resource management. The Toyota deal provides crucial infrastructure—like a new simulator—and technical expertise that Haas cannot develop alone, potentially bridging the gap to better-funded midfield rivals.
